Quiet Waters sits at 306 SW 10th Street in Belle Glade. It was built in 2009 as age-restricted affordable housing for residents 55 and over, and it is now part of the portfolio managed by Wingate Companies — the change of hands longtime residents will remember.
The property has an on-site fitness center, laundry facilities and a business center, along with a calendar of planned social activities. Some units come furnished, and the buildings are wheelchair accessible.
An on-site fitness room is only worth what actually gets used in it. A set time, a real instructor and a few neighbors who expect to see you there is the difference between a room with equipment and a room with people in it.
